- BS
in Computer
Science or Computer Engineering

Requirements |
- Prior
experience with C programming and analog and digital hardware
- An
aptitude for learning, developing, and maintaining
mission-critical software
- Ability
to develop structured programs which support accurate
measurements and efficient operations in a manufacturing
environment
- Knowledge
of scripting in Perl or other similar languages
- Experience
with Web programming languages, LabWindows, LabView, MATLAB,
MySQL or other relational databases preferred
- Experience
with National Instruments hardware desired
- Experience
in manufacturing, automation, hardware integration, interface
design, data mining, and data reporting preferred

Responsibilities |
- Provide
software engineering support to manufacturing operations
- Interface
with production departments to define software specifications to
improve production performance and efficiency
- Perform
a variety of tasks associated with programming and testing MEMS
motion-sensing devices
- Assist
in the development of engineering and production tests of new
products
- Assist
in implementing, maintaining, and improving production test
software to maximize productivity
- Use
a hands-on approach toward solving test and operational
challenges in a production environment
- Work
with outside vendors to enhance existing capabilities, add new
functionality, and develop methods and algorithms for testing
innovative new designs
- Maintain
test facilities to ISO 9001:2000 standards
