THE KIONIX COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
To meet or exceed customer expectations — This is the first phrase of the Kionix Quality Policy, a simple yet compelling statement supported by a real-time electronic system of specifications and procedures. It is the foundation upon which Kionix successfully competes in the global marketplace. External auditors have praised the Kionix Quality Management System (QMS) repeatedly as a model to which other companies might aspire.
The purpose of the Kionix QMS is to provide quality and reliability in the creation and delivery of Kionix products. It describes in detail all of the functions required to design, produce, test, and supply products to our customers:

  • Ensuring the excellence of people and infrastructure
  • Effectively managing resources
  • Planning, authorizing, and measuring internal processes
  • Evaluating design requirements and validating designs
  • Selecting and managing suppliers
  • Maintaining product identification and traceability
  • Committing to customer requirements, communicating with customers, and monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Making continual improvements and taking corrective/preventive actions

The Quality System adheres to standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and will always be undergoing continuous improvement as we implement new operations initiatives. Kionix is certified to the following standards:
