KENNETH HAGER
Vice President, Manufacturing and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Hager brings to Kionix an extensive operations background combining proven manufacturing technologies with many years of general plant-management experience. He possesses broad knowledge relative to the Operational Excellence philosophy and standards, including budgeting, labor relations, Lean/Sigma manufacturing, and strategic sourcing. These attributes provide a strong platform that help to drive Kionix’s strategic operational programs and initiatives.
Prior to joining Kionix in 2010, Mr. Hager was Plant Manager for Emerson Power Transmission’s Ithaca Facility. During his time with Emerson, he was instrumental in introducing and implementing manufacturing technologies focused on product cost controls, while also improving product quality and customer satisfaction. Under his direction, the Ithaca plant was recognized with several outstanding performance awards, including The Emerson President’s Quality Award and The Emerson Safety Award.
Mr. Hager is a graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Business Administration and Marketing. Before joining Emerson, he began his career in industrial engineering at American LaFrance, a manufacturer of custom-made emergency vehicles.
At Kionix, Mr. Hager is responsible for overseeing the Company’s interface with OEMS, supply-chain vendors, and manufacturing-systems integrators. In addition, he manages the Company’s manufacturing facilities, including wafer fabrication and product testing.
