ACCELEROMETERS

Kionix capacitive accelerometers are fabricated from single-crystal silicon using our proprietary micromachining process. The silicon sensor element is hermetically sealed during wafer processing, enabling industry-standard packaging.

Kionix accelerometers feature high sensitivity, low noise, stable offset and sensitivity over temperature, and high shock survivability for a variety of consumer, automotive and industrial applications. Kionix low-g accelerometers can be used to achieve precise measurements of inclination (tilt). Motion sensing and drop-detection applications can be readily implemented with Kionix accelerometers featuring built-in algorithms and interrupt outputs.
