The KXSB5 is a high-performance, low-power tri-axis accelerometer offering multiplexed analog or SPI digital communications, an integrated 4-channel multiplexer and internal 1KHz Low-Pass Filter.  The KXSB5 offers a factory-programmable g-range of ±2.5g to ±6g and is delivered in a 3 x 5 x 0.9 mm, 14-pin, LGA package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The KXSB5 operates from a 2.5 V to 3.6 V DC supply (factory-programmable).

This Kit is composed of a Kionix Evaluation Board on which is soldered a customer-specified 3.3V Kionix accelerometer product, a Silicon Labs C8051F340DK that provides the microprocessor control and USB interface, and a Kionix F340 Adapter Board that provides the link between the Kionix Evaluation Board and the microprocessor.
